Berlin, Germany (SportsNetwork.com) – Arthur Abraham once again defeated
Paul Smith in a 12-round unanimous decision to retain the WBO World super
middleweight title on Saturday night.
Abraham (42-4) earned his sixth straight win and fourth straight title
defense since getting knocked out by Robert Stieglitz in March of 2013.
The judges scored the fight, 116-112, 117-111 and 117-111.
Smith (35-6) was granted a rematch by Abraham following controversy
surrounding the scoring in their previous bout back in late September.
