Moscow, Russia (SportsNetwork.com) – Denis Lebedev defeated Youri Kalenga in a
unanimous 12-round decision to retain his WBA world cruiserweight title on
Friday.
Lebedev (27-2) was knocked down in the fourth round when he slipped, but came
back to floor Kalenga (21-2) in the seventh round.
Two judges scored the fight 115-112, while a third submitted a 116-111 tally.
