Upcoming Fights Featuring Canelo and Santa Cruz Bouts

Mexico Vs Puerto Rico Coming Up

Fight of the year candidate is coming up this fall.  Canelo takes on Cotto in another fight that we have waited for a very long time to culminate.  A compromise weight of 155 lbs has been reached.  Dates are hovering around November Seventh and Twenty First.  The author hopes that the updated Thomas & Mack Center gets it as the MGM Grand has been getting stale in their visual appeal.  New York City has been making a pitch for this event but are considered dark horse sites at best.  We saw negotiations break down once but after the barrage of bucks that came through the Floyd Manny super fight, they have plenty of incentive to cash in themselves.

August Sees Cruz Step Up From Cupcakes

Even the beltholders at weights like 122 lbs are managed and massaged. Santa Cruz has taken the career longevity path by feasting on inferior fighters as of late.  Finally, the boxing community and sponsors have asked him to step it up.  He has and will face former champion Abner Mares at the very end of August.  Similar Mexican roots and fighting styles have compelled this match to be slated.  The only problem with this is that Mares might be past it because he has not been the same since that viscious fight against Jhonny Gonzalez.  If he can ramp the aggression up once again then this should be a very entertaining bout.

So put this down on your Apex Boxing Betting calendar.  Canelo and Cato will probably be here shortly.  Santa Cruz will make our profit dreams come true as long as he stays in shape.  Join us next week here at Apex Boxing as we shift gears to the contact sports arena of UFC.  Good fortune and we will see you soon here at Apex Boxing Betting.
